Well another day another person to hunt down. Ever since the meeting at the amusement park Devin has been running around not only trying to find new possible recruits, but also securing the ones he all ready had. He found out from a reliable source that his chances were good of running into Salem at the mall, the only problem is where. The mall was rather huge, and Devin didn't exactly have the money to come here all the time. Each time he would get lost at least once.
He had wandered around for a little while and found himself at the food court. Which wasn't too bad now that the lunch rush was just beginning to fade out. Perhaps he could find Salem here if he just waited. Devin took a seat at a table that had just been used by a couple of lazy slobs who had left their trays behind. He scowled at the sight in front of him and his eyes traced back to the obese family that sat here. I highly doubt they needed any of this. They have enough to hibernate through several winters.

It was another day, a regular day on Salem's standards anyway he was always at the mall. Hell it had heat! Unlike his apartment, but he didn't complain since he could always burns stuff, but just to relax was best. He looked around shops all useless to go to. Then he decided that he was hungry.
No it was more like his stomach decided they were hungry as it growled. Walking over to the food court he placed a few dollars on the table enough to order him a few hot dogs and a drink. Then he looked around and saw someone that he was shocked to see. Devin...
He had his bag filled with hot dogs in his mouth not preferring a tray because he was going to leave. But since Devin was here he could give some conversation. Sitting down he placed the food in front of him. "What are you doing here, hmm? I haven't really seem you around here before." He didn't want to state that he his self was here almost everyday.

As Salem sat down with Devin he merely smirked to himself, he was glad to know that his new sources were proving to be useful. He nodded in agreement as Salem spoke to him. With a smile Dev looked over to Salem with his cool demeanor unmoved by Salem's talented display of food balancing. He folded one hand over the other on one of the scarce clean spots of the table and took a breath.
"Please do not take this the wrong, as I do not mean it to offend you. But you're right, I barely come here however I heard I could find you here. I need to know that you will be loyal to the team, I all ready have my doubts about one other member, and I would like to not have to worry about any others." Devin was straight to the point, as always. His voice was stern and kept its edge all throughout his speaking, not to intimidate Salem but to inform him of how serious he was about this entire plan.

"Well...that surely is interesting..." Salem said in reply to Devin's speech. "Um...I'm not sure if this could possibly put your mind on ease, but a villains word can go as far as an infant throwing a ball...I can say I am loyal...but what makes that the truth." Salem sometimes needs to stop sounding like a philosopher.
"The only reason you could possibly trust me is because I share the same ambitions that you have. I'm one with the cause. That is the best I can give you than a simple, 'Yeah you can trust me.' So...anything else?" at this moment Salem sighed after his own little speech.

Dev smirked as he sat at the table listening to how Salem handled the question. He was a very smart person this was definitely true, and it was showing. Although he seemed a little bit childish the other night Devin felt that it didn't reflect Salem's intelligence too well. Devin leaned back in the chair and rested his hands behind the back of his head and watched Salem contently as he finished his little spiel.
"Well said Salem, I understand it is naive of me to ask the trust and loyalty of villains. However, I feel in order to overcome the heroes, we too must utilize this teamwork strategy." He took a small pause to think a little bit about his plan over. That and he was contemplating whether or not to get a drink, sometimes talking could be a thirsty action. "Well, I would like you to know that I am loyal to the team . However, I will not offer my hand to any one person, so long as you are a part of this team I will have your back. And I do hope you stay a part of this team, personally you are one of my favourites."
