Alkili Lake, Liberty Island. All of these places have great meaning to both Humans and Mutants alike. Both battle grounds of the supposed war that is coming. A war for domination and complete ownership of earth. Yet only the Mutants know that the war will be to such a scale. Humans just wish to have Mutants gone for good. But this is impossible. For Mutants will always be born. Evolution will continue to take it’s course until there will be no Humans left, just Mutants. Humans are scared of this. Worried that they will no longer be at the top of the food chain. Worried that they might have someone that is better than them.

You know Humans. They, without knowing so, don’t wish to have this happen. He are scared of such a large-scale change. And the only way to stop it is to eradicate the problem completely. But how to do this against beings that have abnormal abilities? You take those abilities away. And in their possession is the very Mutant that can do that.

Ironic how they plan to use a Mutant to be rid the world of all Mutants. They say they’re such horrible and dangerous beings. But they plan on using such a being to help them. Seeing how wrong this is Magneto has come back with full force. An army starting up from Mutants that believe Humans need to be erased from the Planet earth and that mutants should take over. Yet he’s been doing this in secrecy. Not even the all-knowing Charles Xavier knows of Magneto's plans for Alcatraz Island.

But further beneath the surface, there is a part of the government that believes curing the X-Gene will not work. That the only way to be rid of Mutants for good is to destroy them all completely. So beneath the noises of the Government and many Government agencies vials of the cure have been shipped to a new location. A place near Alkili Lake. A new laboratory that holds many many secrets for many mutants. Who runs it is unknown to everyone but those that work there. No one is allowed to leave or enter without authorization to do so.

This building is on constant lock down. Holding many Mutants prisoner as Test subjects. Seeing if their little idea works. And for other things as well. Just incase Mutants decide to fight back against their little, extermination idea. Super Mutants are what they are called. Later forms of the Adimentium project. Better, stronger, and mindless killers these Mutants have yet to be unleashed upon the unexpecting public.
